A well-known hill station, Manali may be found in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, which lies in the vicinity of the northern Himalayas. It is well-known for the stunning natural scenery that surrounds it, and as a result, it is a favourite location for people who enjoy going on hikes, particularly during the winter months. The Hampta Pass Trek is one of the most well-known winter hikes in Manali. It passes through the Pir Panjal range of the Himalayas, which is widely considered to be one of the most magnificent mountain ranges in the world. The journey begins at the community of Jobri, which sits at an elevation of 2,250 metres (7,382 feet) above mean sea level. Starting from Jobri, the hike travels along a path that is clearly designated and leads through thick forests and fields. Along the way, travellers catch brief glimpses of snow-capped peaks in the distance.
As you climb higher in elevation, the vegetation shifts, and you eventually come to a zone that is dominated by oak and rhododendron forests. As you get closer to the Hampta Pass, which is situated at an elevation of 4,270 metres, the ascent gets more challenging (14,010 feet). The pass provides stunning vistas of the surrounding countryside as well as the mountains in the Himalayas, such as Indrasan, Deo Tibba, and Hanuman Tibba. After reaching the top of the pass, the travellers continue their journey to the Chika camp, which is 3,100 metres above sea level (10,170 feet). The camp is encircled by mountains that are covered in snow and provides stunning vistas of the scenery in the surrounding area. The walk also takes travellers via the breathtaking Beas Kund, which is a placid lake at a high altitude that is encircled on all sides by snow-covered mountains.
